Kendall went on her first cross country skiing expedition today with my friend Mary. I would have gone with them but I spent yesterday learning to cross country ski and it's safe to say that I spent more time on my butt than I did on the skiis. Mary said she did significantly better than I did, YIKES! Anyway she found something that she enjoys and I think we will probably start trying to get out a little more often!
Good Job Kendall! I tried cross country once and it was really hard. I spent most of the time on my butt!
ReplyDeleteThis is the time to start. I tried skiing (downhill) when I was 40 and it was a disaster. It was good entertainment for the kids. They loved laughing at me. Looks like she loves it so far. And better than downhill because you can do it anywhere there is snow.
